Norman passes proclamation recognizing June as Pride Month

The Norman city council passed the proclamation recognizing the month of June as Pride Month. LGBTQ+ Police Liaison and PFLAG Norman President, Michael Robertson, accepted the proclamation with Norman Pride’s, Tate Hughes, at Tuesday’s council meeting. Mayor Breea Clark and Robertson both mentioned ‘NPD Community Pridefest,’ which is an event hosted by the Police Department meant to build relationships and trust.
