PFLAG Norman will be attending the Red Dirt Collective Mutual Aid Fair. This event collaborates with community partners to help provide resources to the community such as clothing, hygiene products, cleaning supplies, and much more.

If you are looking for a safe and inclusive space to spend your Thanksgiving holiday, this gathering is here for you. From 11am-3pm, feel free to come and go as you like. There will be a pot-luck style dinner, so bring a dish if you wish, but not required. Come know you belong and feel the love of community.

Thursday, November 20th is the 2025 Transgender Day of Remembrance (TDOR), which memorializes trans individuals who have died because of transphobia and acts of violence against the trans community. TDOR was inspired by the vigil held for Rita Hester, a trans woman from Allston, MA, who was murdered in 1998.

This event is the result of a partnership between PFLAG Norman, Norman Pride, Cleveland County Democratic Party  and the Uncanny Art House. Speakers to be announced soon. We will close the evening with a vigil and reading of the list of victims.

On November 18th, 2025, several counties in Oklahoma will be holding local special elections. This special election does include McClain and Oklahoma County. It does NOT include Cleveland County. Find out more under the Advocacy News on our home page.

PFLAG Norman will be attending this year’s American Foundation for Suicide Prevention - Out of the Darkness Walk. You can register to join the walk at afsp.org/oklahoma. Registration at the event opens at 5pm and the Walk begins at 6pm. Come walk with us to support the cause.
